TO PRESERVE STYLUS LIFE:

cause the arm to sweep across the record.
If i t is necessary to manually place the tone arm in the record groove
while turntable is rotating, release i t as soon as the stylus engages the
record groove.
Correct improper set-down adjustment o r malfunction o f the turntable
changing mechanism to prevent the stylus from s t r ~ k i n gthe edge o f the
turntable or record. D o n o t stack more records than turntable manufacturer recommends.
Take care to properly insert the stylus into the cartridge assembly and
the cartridge and shell assembly into the tone arm receptacle.
Use proper vertical tracklng force setting for each cartridge.
D o n o t use badly warped, cracked or imperfect records.
When dusting the turntable protect the stylus w i t h the stylus guard.
