o cut a piece of black yarn about 2 feet long and fold in half

o hook strand through stitch (pulling strand at the “fold”)
o with both the strands, yarn over hook
o pull yarn through stitch and off hook (as if you were making one
chain)

o repeat for each stitch around the base of the hair
o section the hair into 2 parts and braid each side and secure
o trim to desired length……..tah-dah! you have braids!
Now, sew the hair to the doll’s head. I safety pinned the hair to the head
to prevent shifting as I sewed. I also tilted the hair back to expose more
of the face (so the top of the head was slightly more shifted forwards than
the top of the hair).
When you are done sewing the hair on the head, put in the safety eyes,
embroider mouth and sew on the rosy cheeks. Stuff
