3⁄4" down for back leg. Bend 11⁄2"
pieces in a "U" shape for front legs.
Using glue, wrap metallic ribbon
around front wires only, while attaching front legs at the same time.
Insert pony beads at top of front
posts, securing with glue.

LOG (MAKE 3)
Bottom
Row 1: Starting at back edge, with
white, repeat row 1 of Firebox Base.
Rows 2–21: Ch 1, sc in each sc

Stocking: 2 1⁄4" long.

Cut lengths of red, orange, white and
blue yarn in 4" pieces. Fold in half
and arrange randomly inside fold of
3" bias tape. Stitch across tape to
catch ends in. Brush yarn with wire
brush and trim in shape of flames.

FINISHING
Cut foamboard to match Sides, Front
and to fit Firebox pieces. Tape foamboard pieces together, insert and
stuff empty spaces with fiberfill.
Whipstitch Sides to Back, Firebox
sides to top and back. Place over
Base having Back even with back
edge of Base, and whipstitch in
place.
Whipstitch one long edge of each column to Front, insert paper towel
