Located in the centre of the valley with wide, palm-fringed
fairways and water hazards coming into play on 15 of its 18 holes,
the South Course, whilst being a top-calibre championship course,
offers one of the fairest tests of golf both for scratch players and
right across the handicap range.
“If I had to choose one golf course
to play before I die, it would be the
South Course at La Manga Club.”
Former Editor, Daily Telegraph

Slightly shorter than the South, with tighter fairways and larger
greens, the North Course offers a different, yet no less challenging,
round of golf. The greens call for a particularly deft touch, perhaps none
more so than the short Par 3, 2nd, which has 3 distinct plateaux.
An added challenge is provided by the water hazards and the ‘barrancas’
or natural storm gullies that snake their way through all 3 courses.
“I would like to thank the whole
team at the resort for the service,
it is a great pleasure to be here.”
Jose María Olazábal,

Set amid serene pine woodlands, the West Course is a deceiving
course with frequent changes in elevation. The tight front 9 demands
accurate driving to avoid the ‘barrancas’, while the back 9, up amongst
the hills, is more open but nonetheless challenging. Accuracy and
good course management are very much at a premium.
“The 18th is a great finale on the
West Course. The magnificent view
from the tee is always something to
look forward to and as the tee sits
very high above the fairway, the wind
is always ready to play its part.”
Former Formula One World Champion

Great for sharpening your short game skills, this picturesque course
comes complete with bunkers and water hazards and offers practice
and enjoyment for the whole family. The greens are beautifully manicured,
with some subtle right-to-left and left-to-right putts. The Par 3s are
particularly well designed, with excellent greens for putting, real bunkers
and light rough around 3 holes. Handicap golfers will find plenty
of opportunity to work on their short game skills and many find
scoring the par 47 shots more challenging than expected. In addition
to all this, the course is superbly landscaped with tropical palms and
parkland trees, creating some great photo oppor tunities.
“My links with Spain go back a long way to when, as a child,
I used to go on holiday with my family to La Manga Club,
which was where I first learned to play golf.”
