Input & Output Extension Device

MiCOM P849 has been specially designed to
offer a larger range of protection and control
applications.

The protection application is characterised
by IEC 61850 communication on a redundant
fast Ethernet network. It is the ideal solution to
increase the quantity of digital Inputs and Outputs
of any existing IEC 61850 protection device.
The control application (Remote Extension
Unit) is available through legacy communication
protocols as well as IEC61850.

MiCOM P849

Easy to use
MiCOM S1 Studio allows you to configure MiCOM P849 from a
remote PC or upload to the front port.
Programmable Scheme Logic (graphical) functionality is
included as standard.
The user friendly HMI incudes:
• Programmable Function Keys
