SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS
TITLE

"STEEP SLOPE AND MOUNTAIN VITICULTURE
BETWEEN TRADITION AND INNOVATION”
SESSIONS
Session I
Grape-producing and wine-making technology, genetic resources,
resistant varieties.
Session II

Environment, territory and landscape, (terroir, climate change, land
management, landscape preservation …).

Session III
Economic and social aspects, (marketing, valorization process,
economic policies …).
Those participants who wish to present their reports or posters must do so by submitting
their abstracts to the Scientific Committee no later than 14th April 2014 by emailing to
the following address: segreteria@cervim.it.
Authors will be notified of abstract acceptance and sent instructions for the oral or poster
presentation from 2nd May 2014.
The full text of the presentations needs to be sent to Cervim’s secretariat no later than 10th
July 2014. The Conference proceedings will contain all oral and poster presentations.

REGISTRATION FEE
The registration fee is 280,00 € and includes attendance to all conference sessions, the
technical visits, lunches and gala dinner, and a copy of the conference proceedings. On
the other hand, travel and accommodation costs are to be covered by each participant at
his/her own expense.
The registration fee for the companions is200,00 € and includes the technical visits, the
lunches and the gala dinner.
For all students interested in attending the conference, the registration fee is 150,00 €.
The daily registration fee is 100,00 €.

The official languages of the Conference will be English and French.
Simultaneous translation will be provided during the Conference sessions.

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Abstracts must be written both in English and in French.
ALL ABSTRACTS MUST CONTAIN:

A concise title describing the subject matter;
Name(s) of the author(s) preceded by the initials (no title(s));
Postal and email addresses;
A description of the purpose of the study (introduction);
A brief description of the fundamental methods used;
A description of the results presented in sufficient detail to support the conclusions;
Conclusions.

Note: Abstracts will be published as they are received, without correcting typing
errors or any other mistakes made by the authors.

EDITORIAL RULES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
The length must not exceed one page: A4 paper format; written in 12-point Times New
Roman font, using 1.5 line-spacing and with margins set to 3cm.
I. Use Times New Roman typeface only and simple fonts, align text vertically (except for
Latin words) and avoid all font size variations and the underlying format (except to
indicate Latin words);
II. Do not exceed 2,000 characters per language (including title, authors, text and the
space between title, authors and text);
III. Use bold fonts for the names of the authors;
