Saint Mesrop Machtots (362-440) en 405 apr. J.-C.
La langue arménienne est une langue indo-européenne, comme le français,
l’allemand ou l’anglais.

 Au présent de l’indicatif, la particule « gue » « կը » est placé devant chaque

 L’article défini (en français le, la, l’) est formé tout simplement en accolant la
lettre ը (lettres n° 8 de l’alphabet, phonétique « e’t ») en fin de mot. Exemple :
