Proposer, dans un quartier à forte connotation historique, une nouvelle façon d’appréhender la vie en communauté (rapport social, écologie) tout en intégrant un programme et des infrastructures, des équipements
publics visant à developper les quartiers sensibles et à les restructurer.

Maintenir un front bâti dans la continuité du batiment existant sur la façade ouest.
Une barre de 6m de large et de 70m de long vient casser ce front et propose une entrée sur la parcelle.
Une barre totalement traversante, participant à une grande porosité, ouverte à la fois sur un parc au nord et sur une place au sud.
Enfin pour clore la barre, un second édifice vient terminer les contours de la place.

Implantées sur la commune de Saint Cenery le Gerei (61250), ces cabanes se veulent innovantes dans la manière d’adapter à la fois l’aspect ludique
tout en proposant un confort optimal.
A l’image d’un arbre, celles-ci sont constituées d’un tronc central et de quatre cellules individuelles assimilables à des branches.

D’une superficie de 9m², l’unité centrale sert à la fois de chambre double et d’espace de vie tandis que les cellules individuelles de 3m² proposent un
espace minimal à l’image des capsules japonnaises.
Dans la continuité du plancher, une terrasse de 6m² vient se jeter dans la verdure et conclut l’habitat par un espace de détente privilégié.

Implantation de cabanes suivant un schema classique en bord de colline avec une orientation favorable.
Chaque cabane doit être facilement montable et démontable, sans aucune fondation béton.
L’idée est de monter les cabanes à partir d’éléments pré-fabriqués en usine et de les monter manuellement.

ATELIER D’ARCHITECTURE - Architecture Météorologique et Atmosphérique

Philippe Rahm (né en 1967 à Pully en Suisse) diplômé de l’École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (Suisse) en 1993, est un architecte suisse de renommée internationale.

La pensée architecturale de Philippe Rahm se décompose en deux phases : la première sur l’architecture physiologique de 1998 à 2005, la seconde de
2005 à aujourd’hui sur l’architecture météorologique. Philippe Rahm considère l’architecture comme un champ philosophique et artistique où il s’agit de construire
des bâtiments et planifier les villes en même temps que de réfléchir, d’actualiser les connaissances et l’ordre des priorités en regard des savoirs scientifiques, afin de
renouveler les modes de vie contemporains et inventer des formes architecturales nouvelles, esthétiques et sociales.

Philippe Rahm classe ses projets selon des phénomènes météorologiques (comme la convection, la conduction, l’évaporation par exemple), qui sont aussi
chacun le mode de composition de ses projets.
Son objectif est d’établir une sorte de nouvelle typologie architecturale, où les éléments traditionnels d’architecture et de composition glisseraient du statique vers le
performatif, du tectonique vers le climatique. Aux éléments traditionnels d’architecture comme le mur, la colonne, la porte, le plafond par exemple, ils en substituent
des éléments météorologiques comme la lumière, l’air ou la vapeur d’eau. Aux modes traditionnelles de composition tels que la symétrie, la dissymétrie, l’inclusion,
l’addition ou la déformation par exemple, ils en substituent des modes de compositions météorologiques tels que la convection, la pression ou l’évaporation entre
autres.

Le choix de travailler avec ces phénomènes climatiques est bien motivé par le besoin de répondre au plus près des enjeux du développement durable en
travaillant directement sur et avec les techniques du bâtiment responsable du dégagement des gaz à effet de serre telles que le chauffage, la ventilation ou l’isolation. Mais c’est aussi pour Philippe Rahm, l’objectif de revenir au fondamental de l’architecture qui relève de l’espace, du creux entre les murs, du vide et de leurs
constituants physiques tels que la lumière ou l’air et dans lesquels on pénètre et on habite, qui nous englobe, contrairement à la sculpture qui nous laisse face à elle,
en-dehors d’elle et ne peut donc procéder esthétiquement que dans visuel et le tactile.

souvent figés dans leurs formes et ne peuvent appartenir qu’à une direction architecturale et qu’à un espace donné.

Les années 50 : étude des polyèdres et de leurs agglomérations, recherche technologique, pricncipes constructifs légers et rigides,
connaissance des géodésies, structure urbaine flexible, adaptable à tout site d’implantation, agglomération de structures spatiales
diverses, structures «autotendantes»...

Mise en situation avec l’exemple d’un Atelier.
Créer un deuxième exemple permet de démontrer d’autres possibilités de conception. Ici, l’atelier travaille plus sur l’usage et le confort d’un objet fonctionnaliste.
Thermiquement, on souhaite être efficace et être quasi autonome en energie. Le travail sur les doubles peaux et sur l’exposition a un fort enjeu sur ce projet.

Thème du concours : Revisiter la chambre d’hôtel traditionnelle pour moins de 250€. Chaque chambre devra s’implanter sur un site
pré-défini dans la ville de Mannheim.
Le projet : Tubheim (maison tube). Notre structure peut se monter et démonter facilement et se transporter aisément derrière un vélo.
A la manière d’une scène de théâtre itinérante, le tubheim vient explorer tous les recoins de Mannheim au fil de ses humeurs.

Etapes de construction
Le tube favorise la stabilité et l’assemblage participe à une economie de materaiux et une lègereté avec un module unique qui se répète.
Tous nos matéraiux sont ré-utilisés (bâches de couvreur, bois de banche, tissus...) et aucun vis, clous ou colle ne sont utilisés.

Structure et vues intérieures de la construction finale sur site
L’aspect final, le grincement du bois et la forme des arcs rappellent à l’univers nautique et s’insèrent très bien dans le port maritime de Mannheim.. Enfin, son aspect exterieur, traduit une
ambiance terne et maussade en accord avec l’univers des containers du port et en total contradiction avec l’univers très cosy et kitsh de l’interieur rappelant plutot la roulotte tzigane.

SENSIBILSATION A L’ARCHITECTURE AU COLLEGE


Les soldes arrivent bientôt, ou alors est-ce en ce moment? Si nous pouvons digérer
l’ensemble du contenu de notre frigo et recycler les emballages, qu’advient-il de nos vêtements
inutilisés?

Intuitivement, nous nous servons d’un objet afin qu’il occupe la fonction pour laquelle
il a été crée. Celle d’un vêtement est d’habiller un corps, mais aussi plusieurs peut-être.
Pourquoi ne pas recycler cet usage commun?

Entre ces interrogations, nous tentons de créer un habitat fait de vêtements usagés
avec les classes de cinquièmes du Lycée Arthur Rimbaud. Cette initiative indépendante se
place dans la continuité du programme «architecture au collège» mis en place depuis 2003 par
le C.A.U.E de Seine Maritime.

Nous avons donc trois groupes d’une trentaine d’élèves prêts à créer un habitat dans
leur collège. Ce ne sera pas cette cabane noircie sur une feuille volante mais le geste d’un
architecte centimane. Les séances leur dévoilent progressivement qu’avec toutes ces mains,
par le dessin, ils s’approprient les potentiels existants pour créer la tension de chacune de ses
intentions.

La première rencontre a sensibilisé les enfants à ce qu’est (que sera)? dès lors, leur
profession hebdomadaire d’architecte, à ce que sont les responsabilités qui s’y incombent et
aux outils mis à son service.

La deuxième a tenté de donner (d’imaginer) à intuitionner le rapport d’une structure à
son enveloppe, comme d’un squelette et sa peau.

La troisième séance a permis d’appréhender la notion d’usage ; c’est à dire à la nescessite de concevoir un espace au regard des utilisations que nous souhaitons en faire.

Au cours de la quatrième séance, nous avons commencé à utiliser l’élément textile,
ici des jeans collectés et fournis par l’association «solidarité textile».
L’idée d’un module fait d’un tressage de vêtemtents s’est rapidement imposée comme étant
la plus efficace. En effet, celui-ci donne la possibilité d’une personnalisation de l’envelloppe à
volonté tout en gardant un structure porteuse fixe, simple et économe.

Projet centré sur la prise de conscience du textile dans le monde et sur une eventuelle reconversion de son usage.
Imaginer un habitat isolé à partir de vêtements et jouer sur la taille, le composant et la couleur du vêtement pour répondre aux
questions de chaleur, de ventilation et de lumière.
