Welcome
The Blues Delirium team is happy to welcome you for this very first Blues
Exchange in Paris for New Year’s Eve! For this special occasion, we
have prepared you an amazing program: a lot of old and new friends
from everywhere, great dances on very different music styles, tasting
French food and wine we want you to remember and visiting Paris in an
unusual and interesting way.
In this booklet you will find all the information you need during your stay
in Paris.

How to get to Paris from:
 Orly Airport:
Orlybus: bus from Orly airport to Denfert-Rochereau station (metro lines 6, 4, RER B):
7,50€
Orlyval: a driverless light rail transit line that connects Orly airports with Antony RER B
station: 9€
 Charles-De-Gaulle Airport
Roissybus: takes you to the Opéra station (M line 3,7,8, RER A): 10,50€
RER B: fastest way to get to the city center: from 9,75€ depending how far you go
 Beauvais Airport
Airport Shuttle for the Airport to Porte Maillot (Metro line 1): 17€ one way
 Train stations
All the train stations in Paris can be accessed by metro

How to move around in Paris:
You can use several types of public transportation in Paris: metro, RER (suburban train
going through Paris), tramway and bus:
 Metro, RER and Tramway map: click HERE

You can get these maps for free in all metro stations.
Tickets:
- “Paris Visite”: Full travel pass with unrestricted access to all public transportation and
discounts on tours: website in EN
- Single tickets (t+) in Paris:
 1 ticket = 1.70 €
 10 tickets = 13.70 €
The t+ ticket allows you to travel on:
 metro lines
 RER lines within Paris (zones 1-2)
 Ile-de-France bus lines (RATP and OPTILE), except Orlybus and Roissybus
 Tramway lines
 The Montmartre funicular
Please note that some Metros and RER will be running all night long on December 31st,
and will be free for everyone from 5pm on December 31st, until 12pm on January 1st.
Click on this link to check which lines will be running that night, and which stations will be
open (be aware that you won’t be able to access the metro from all the usual stations,
some will be closed: line 11 for example will be closed. You can take line 2 at station
Belleville to go home after the party).

at the Palais de Tokyo.
Theme: Be crazy, be
3:30 pm: meeting at the Palais de Tokyo for yourself! The idea is to let
a bluesy moment & photobomb
you have the craziest outfit
ever if you want (or not if
it's not your thing). This is
7:30 to 8:30 pm: wine & cheese tasting at
the time to express your

There will be a photo booth
with all sorts of fun
accessories until 1 am!

Thursday,
January 1st

Morning: you can visit a museum or go for
a walk (following our suggestions from page

3 pm: massage sessions (approx. 1 h

- Back & legs following the Zheng Gu TuiNa
technique (Chinese medical massage). You
will stayed dressed (please wear flexible
tops and trousers).

Please be aware:










The event is sold-out, so please don’t try to come to the parties and activities if
you haven’t bought party tickets or a full-pass, we won’t be able to let you in.
The wine during the wine and cheese tasting will be the only alcohol that we
provide. You can bring your own on the 31st if you want (and throw away the
empty bottle afterwards )
Do not throw away your glasses/cutlery/tableware: they can be recycled and will
be used for the whole event.
No need to eat right before the party on the 31st, as we will have a wine & cheese
tasting at 7:30 pm followed by a buffet dinner, so plenty of food!
On January, 1st, we will all eat together quite early (around 6 pm), so our advice is
for you to have a brunch at midday :-)

Have a bottle of water on you for the scavenger hunt (and warm clothes)!
