Description
Teaching methods
French for Life Sciences Students is an
intensive two-week course that aims to
enhance the fluency of University Students
from ETSIAMN Partner Institutions.
Participants will have the opportunity to
develop their communication skills and
knowledge of French for specific purposes in
an authentic academic setting.
Work groups will be created based on the
results of a placement test to be taken by all
participants on the first day. Sessions involve
short lectures, specific-purposes language
tasks, team work, vocabulary-building and
pronunciation exercises.

Upon completing the course, participants will
have strengthened their communication skills
and increased their competence in the French
language.

Course structure
Course Fees
The course lasts 50 hours, divided into five
hours of training per day: three contact hours
and two student self-study hours, (MondayFriday, 10:00 – 16:30). Participants passing
the final exam will obtain a 3 ECTS official
certificate.
The course is designed for intermediate and
advanced users. A B1 level in French is the
recommended minimum entry level.
650 € per person, including accommodation
in a student dorm (entry Sunday 5th, exit
Saturday 18th July), lunches on UPV campus
for the ten work days, off-campus monitored
social program , course book, welcome paella
meal and guided visit on the UPV campus.
Extracurricular activities and weekend trips
(not included in course fees) may be
organized upon request: Guided Tours, Food
& Culture Workshop, Beach Volley
Tournament, Dance Evenings, Trip to Ibiza,
Farewell Dinner…
