VERY IMPORTANT

MEASURE YOUR TENSION THROUGHOUT
KNITTING TO ENSURE SUCCESS.
INTARSIA AND FAIRISLE TECHNIQUE
When working in more than one colour, where possible the
colour not in use should be stranded loosely across back of
work to retain elasticity of fabric, but where stranding the
yarn becomes difficult use a separate ball of yarn for each
change of colour and twist yarns over each other on wrong
side of work to avoid a hole. DO NOT BREAK OFF AND
JOIN IN YARN EXCEPT WHERE NECESSARY,

SWISS DARNING
Bring the needle through between the two threads at
base of stitch to be covered. Insert needle behind the two
threads at the top of the same stitch and draw the needle
through. Now take the needle through base of same
stitch so completely covering one stitch.
