Aperçu du document
Design has always been something fascinating to me. As
a child, I remember looking
at magazines and wondering
how the layouts were made,
who was behind these beautiful visuals, and if I would be
able to do the same. During
my freshman year, I made
an internship for Pole Company, the biggest advertising
agency in the French Riviera.
They gave me my chance and
let me design a whole magazine for one of their clients.
That is how design truly became a path to follow and not
just something fun to do.
Inspiration is everywhere. All it takes is looking
around, and find what catches the attention. Travels,
books, pictures, movies, nature, are part of my daily
inspiration. Culture and knowledge is also something
important. To be inspired is to be open-minded, and
I think one comes with the other.
This portrait, for example, inspired me in the destructuration. There was something in her eyes that
inspired me to remove the rest of her pretty face; as if
her glance was the only thing to keep in mind.
I love playing with natural elements.
These two design were inspired by the film Inception.
The oher side of Design
Photography and videography are also something I value a lot in the design work.
I worked for a year for the
Studio 614, a photography/
advertising agency located
in Antibes, France.
The creative director and
founder of the gency, Sebastien Veraguas, taught
me how to work in photography, play with lights and
colors, and chose the right
pose and backgrounds. The
portrait on the left is one of
this photo work, and I used
it to create a cover magazine.
