VR FEST EXTENDED THREE DAY EVENT GUIDE JANUARY 5 to 7, 2017
Welcome to VR FEST 2017 featuring the Online Film & Game Competition
presented by PassmoreVR, Dreamland Entertainment, Extreme Tech Challenge
and the Nevada Film Office.
THURSDAY JANUARY 5th OPENING NIGHT: The 3rd Annual VR FEST and Extreme
Tech Challenge events will kick off on Thursday, January 5th, 2017 from 10:30pm to 4am
at Hakkasan Nightclub and the Level Up Lounge inside the MGM Resort Hotel and
Casino located at 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109. Complimentary and
expedited entry for all VR FEST and XTC Badge Holders. Please mind the dress code at
www.hakkasanlv.com. The self-parking fee is $7 for vehicles parked over 1 hour to 4
hours and $10 for vehicles parked over 4 hours to 24 hours
FRIDAY JANUARY 6th VR FEST EXPO AND VR ACADEMY SPEAKER SERIES:
Exhibits will be open on Friday January 6th, 2017 from 12pm to 7pm at Las Vegas
Production Studios located at 4290 Las Vegas Studio Ct., Las Vegas, NV 89103.
Speaker panels take place from 2pm to 7pm. Award presentation happens at 6pm. For a
complete list of speakers please look for our program guide on www.VRFEST.org.
Limited free parking available onsite. Take Uber or Lyft if possible. Complimentary and
expedited entry for all VR FEST and XTC Badge Holders.
SATURDAY JANUARY 7th EXTREME VIRTUAL REALITY CHALLENGE AWARDS:
The Extreme Tech Challenge Semi Finals presented by CES and Mai Tai Global will be
held on Saturday, January 7th from 1pm to 3pm in the Bellini Room at The Venetian Las
Vegas located at 3365 South Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109. This event is by
invitation only. To request an invite please email us at virtualrealityfestival@gmail.com.
SATURDAY, JANUARY 7th CLOSING NIGHT CELEBRATION: On Saturday, January 7th
join the XTC Top 10 and VR Fest Award Winners at the RED Lounge in Downtown Las
Vegas from 7pm to 1am located at 512 Fremont Street, Downtown Las Vegas, NV
89101. Complimentary and expedited entry for all VR FEST and XTC Badge Holders
until midnight. Free and paid parking available.
