La Bien-Assise campsite is located on the grounds of a
200 year old manor, its facilities and traditional restaurant
await you offering a nice break from your travelling and
make you want to extend your stay or come back again
La Bien-assise campsite is situated within historic grounds,
with facilities such as the covered and heated swimmingpool, tennis court, crazy golf course, shop, the take away,
bar or snack-bar and the traditional restaurant await you.
The wide range of sunny or shady pitches, all of reasonable
size with electricity (at least 6 amp) or full hook-up
(electricity, water and waste) offered by the site will make
your stay perfect. The site also offers three toilet / shower
blocks, two of which are heated and accessible to people
with reduced mobility.
This site allows dogs as long as they are kept on their
leads at all times.
If you want to stay in touch with your friends and familly,
don’t worry: 80% of the site is covered with payable Wi-Fi
and if you have a drink in the bar you get 30 minutes free
The “Pas de Calais” is known for its beautiful landscapes, such as the “Grand site des 2
Caps”, which is the only site of it’s kind in France. “Le Touquet” known as “Paris Plage”
and “Wimereux” are huge seaside resorts that may be interesting to visit too, with many
important battles from both the first and second world war. There is also a lot of war
museums and places to discover in the region.
Another famous place to visite is Boulogne-sur-Mer.
You can go for a walk in the old town or if you prefer, you can visit the huge sea museum
of the town ‘’ NAUSICAA’. This area is also known for the lace industry : in Calais, you will
find the international museum of fashion and lace. Calais is also the nearest French city
from Dover : It only takes 45 minutes from Dover to join the Calaisian port, and 30 minutes
with the tunnel.
