This 78’ heavyweight paired-window coach is grey with white and black lettering and runs on 6-wheel
passenger trucks. Built for Union Pacific in the early 1920s, it was later repainted into the postwar twotone grey scheme. It continued to serve UP through the 1960s.
UP is a registered trademark of the Union Pacific Railroad.

This 2-bay covered hopper is beige with black lettering and runs on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. Built by
Gunderson in Mexico in 2013, it displays the new “How tomorrow moves” CSX logo, often referred to as the
“boxcar” logo.

This 50’ standard box car with 8’ double sliding doors, no roofwalk and short ladders is black with white
lettering and runs on Bettendorf trucks. Built for Nickel Plate in 1956, these double-door cars were repainted and renumbered into the N&W 286400-286899 series following the 1964 merger. They were
equipped with Evans Air Packs.

These 70’ husky stack well cars are red with white lettering and run on ASF Ride Control Trucks. Built late in
Southern Pacific’s lifespan in 1992, these Gunderson Husky-Stack 125-ton well cars would accommodate
containers up to 48’ in the lower well position. The Husky-Stack® well car was first introduced in 1990
at the International Intermodal Expo in Atlanta, GA.

This 50’ troop sleeper is dark green and runs on Allied Full Cushion trucks. During WWII, Union Pacific produced a
variety of morale-boosting posters that depicted the railroad’s involvement in supporting the war. This car features
a young boy proudly showing his dad his military train.
This 36’ wood sheathed ice reefer with truss rods is brown with decorated sides and runs on Arch Bar trucks.
The H.J. Heinz Company was founded in 1869 by Henry John Heinz, first manufacturing horseradish. By
the early 1900s, Heinz was manufacturing over 60 food products and relied heavily on their fleet of over
700 colorful billboard boxcars to distribute their products across the country.

This 50’ standard box car with 8’ double sliding doors and no roofwalk and short ladders is reddish brown with
white lettering and runs on Bettendorf trucks. Built in November, 1957 for Canadian National and assigned
to auto parts service. It was later re-assigned in 1965 to general service and had its specialized loading racks
removed.
This 40’ double-sheathed wood reefer is brown with yellow sides and runs on Bettendorf trucks. It was
built in the early part of the 20th century, rebuilt in 1948, and again repainted and serviced in 1968.
With a 1,987 cubic-foot capacity, this car had an aluminum roof and could carry up to 1,600 lbs of
crushed ice.

Undec 70’ Husky Stack Well Car
This 40’ outside braced box car with 1-1/2 Doors and vertical brakewheel is brown with white lettering
and runs on Andrews trucks. Built in 1925 for Milwaukee Road’s automobile parts service, it continued
to serve in various capacities in its as-built form through the 1950s.

This modernized heavyweight business car is yellow with Harbor Mist Grey roof and red lettering. Built in
1919 and sold to the Baldwin Estate, then purchased by UP in 1942, it was renumbered and refurbished
with air conditioning and assigned to the Oregon Division Superintendent through the 1970s.

Unfortunately, upon receipt of our SD40-2 chassis shipment we
discovered a problem with the entire shipment. The chassis are
being returned to our vendor to be modified. We do not know at
this time how long it will be before we receive the modified
chassis’, however we will provide an update as soon as we are able.

These SW1500 locomotives are red with white lettering and run on Flexicoil trucks. Originally built in 1967 for Richmond Frederick & Potomac, these switchers were used in both yard and transfer service throughout the
carriers’ terminal areas through the late 1980s when they were absorbed by CSX. They were later sold to Omnitrax Leasing and repainted and leased to Canadian Pacific in 2001.

Pacific Western Rail Systems is pleased to announce our PWRS Exclusive Micro-Trains N Scale Chessie
System (CSXT) ‘Dirty’, 3 Bay ACF Center Flow Covered Hopper, w/Elongated Hatches 4 Pack.
On November 1, 1980, Chessie System merged with Seaboard Coast Line Industries to form CSX
Corporation. However, the Chessie image continued to be applied to new and re-painted equipment
until mid-1986, when CSX introduced its own paint scheme. These cars will be painted yellow, with
black lettering (re-patched), and will feature moderate to heavy ‘specific’ dirty and rusty weathering,
and relectors. Gravity fed, these hoppers are 100 tons, measure 55’ 5” long, and run on Barber Roller
Bearing trucks.

FRA Class II regional railroad, Montana Rail Link, is one of two operating within the Washington Companies. The
other, Southern Railway of British Columbia (SRY Rail Link), also a Class II, is based in New Westminster, B.C.,
Canada. These cars will be painted blue, with white lettering, and will feature graffiti and dirty, light weathering
