OUR MISSION
Help you discover the wonders of the universe
At Vaonis we provide our customers
with high quality telescopes that are
transportable and easy to use. Through
innovation, we want to make astronomy an
activity within everyone’s reach. Our aim is
to help you explore the universe with ease,
enabling you to share your discoveries and

bring the wonders of the night sky into the
lives of the members of our community.
Our products are designed to transform
stargazing into memorable moments
shared by friends and family so that the
sight of galaxies millions of light years away
from us can be enjoyed by all.

THE COMPANY
Vaonis is a French company based in
Montpellier, France, that designs and
manufactures telescopes and accessories.
The company was founded in 2016 by Cyril
Dupuy, a young start-up entrepreneur,
after obtaining his Bachelor in Optics
and Aerospace. From his experience of
using different telescopes with complex

installation, long user guides and recurring
breakdowns, he imagined and designed
Stellina, the world’s first all-in-one telescope
connected to a mobile app. Our products
are designed and developed by specialists
in optics, mechanics, electronics, material
and ergonomics, giving special attention
to its design, quality and safety.

IT STARTS WITH A TEAM
Vaonis is first and foremost the story of an
astronomical instrument enthusiast who,
through different encounters, has formed
a team of collaborators, each with a unique
experience and history and a common

interest in the universe. The team, which is
constantly growing, works hand in hand to
offer its clients high-quality products and
first-rate assistance thanks to the expertise
provided by each of its members.
