Daisy…”Red Heart” soft touch yarn in green, white and unknown brand of bright yellow worsted weight
Tulip… “Red Heart” soft touch yarn in red, green, unknown brand of bright yellow worsted weight
Daffodil...”Red Heart” soft touch yarn in green, and unknown brand of bright yellow worsted weight
Dried white navy beans, googlie eyes, hot glue gun and glue, buttons, fabric paint, thin wire
Size 4 mm crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Stitch marker I use a scrap of contrasting yarn
Yarn needle (large eyed)

Daisy Flower Center yellow yarn
1. Ch 2, work 6sc in second ch from hook.
2. Work 2sc in each stitch =12sc.
3. Work (sc, 2sc in next stitch) x 6 =18sc.
4. Work (2sc, 2sc in next stitch) x 6 =24sc.
5 &6. Work 24sc around.
7. Work 24sc around in back loops.
8. Work 24sc around.
9. Work (2sc, sc next 2 together) x6 =18sc.
10. Work (sc, sc next 2 together) x 6 =12sc. Bind
off leaving a 6” tail of yarn. Stuff with
fibrefill and use needle on tail of yarn to
gather remaining stitches closed.
Daisy Petals white yarn make 6
1. Ch 2, work 6sc in second ch from hook.
2. Work 2sc in each stitch =12sc.
3. Work (sc, 2sc in next stitch) x 6 =18sc.
4 - 7. Work 18sc around.
8. Work (sc, sc next 2 together) x 6 =12sc.
9 – 10. Work 12sc around. Bind off leaving a 6”
tail of yarn.
11. Press petals flat, as in photo. Use needle on tail
of yarn to sew them to the ridge of stitches on
the flower center (round 7). See photo, right.

Daisy Stem green yarn
1. Ch 2, work 6sc in second ch from hook.
2. Work 2sc in each stitch =12sc.
3. Work (sc, 2sc in next stitch) x 6 =18sc.
4. Work (2sc, 2sc in next stitch) x 6 =24sc.
5. Work 24sc around in back stitches.
6 - 9. Work 24sc around.
10. Work (2sc, sc next 2 together) x 6 =18sc.
11 - 15. Work 18sc around.
16. Work (sc, sc next 2 together) x 6 =12sc. Continue to work sc in each of these 12 stitches in continuous
rounds until piece measures 8”. Bind off leaving a 6” tail of yarn.

17. Fill the bottom 3” of the stem firmly with navy beans. Stuff the remainder with fiberfill. See photo.
18. Sew the flower to the top of the stem. See photo below.
19. Hot glue on googlie eyes, buttons for cheeks, and paint on a mouth with fabric paint.

Daisy Arms green yarn make 2
1. Starting at the hands, ch 2, work 6sc in second
ch from hook.
2. Work 2 sc in next stitch, 5sc.
3. Work 2sc in next stitch, 6sc.
4. Work 2 sc in next stitch, 7sc.
5. Work (2sc, 2sc in next stitch) x 3 =12sc.
6 & 7. Work 12sc around.
8. Work (2sc, sc next 2 together) x 3 =9sc.
9. Work sc next 2 together, 7sc.
10. Work sc next 2 together, 6sc.
11. Ch 12, turn, starting in second ch from hook,
sc. Bind off leaving a 6” tail of yarn. Use
needle on tail of yarn to gather remaining
stitches from round 10 together.
12. This step is optional but I think it really lets you
give the flower some attitude if you can shape
the arms. Thread a thin wire through the length
of the arm, leaving a 4” piece extending past the stem end of the arm. Push this end of the wire
through the flower stem and secure. Sew the arm to the stem. See photos.

Daisy Feet green yarn make 2
1. Repeat steps 1 – 9 as for the arms. Bind off leaving a 6” tail of yarn. Use needle on tail of yarn to sew
the feet to the bottom of the stem. See photo.

Tulip Petals (outer petal) red yarn
1. Ch 2, work 6sc in second ch from hook.
2. Work 2sc in each stitch =12sc.
3. Work (sc, 2sc in next stitch) x 6 =18sc.
4. Work (2sc, 2sc in next stitch) x 6 =24sc.
5. Work (3sc, 2sc in next stitch) x 6 =30sc.
6 - 13. Work 30sc around.
14. Work (sc, dc, tc, dc, sc) x 5. Bind off.
Tulip Petal (inner petal) red yarn
1. Ch 2, work 6sc in second ch from hook.
2. Work 2sc in each stitch =12sc.
3. Work (sc, 2sc in next stitch) x 6 =18sc.
4 - 13. Work 18sc around.
14. Work (sc, tc, sc) x 6. Bind off.
Stamen yellow yarn make 3
1. Ch 15 and bind off. Make a knot close to the last chain.
2. Sew the 3 stamens to the bottom inside of the inner tulip petal.
3. Slide the inner petal inside the outer petal and wither hot glue or sew together.
4. Sew or hot glue the tulip to the top of the stem.
5. Add googlie eyes, button cheeks, and fabric paint smile.
Tulip Stem green yarn
1. Ch 2, work 6sc in second ch from hook.
2. Work 2sc in each stitch =12sc.
3. Work (sc, 2sc in next stitch) x 6 =18sc.
4. Work (2sc, 2sc in next stitch) x 6 =24sc.
5. Work 24sc around in back stitches.
6 - 9. Work 24sc around.
10. Work (2sc, sc next 2 together) x 6 =18sc.
11 - 15. Work 18sc around.
16. Work (sc, sc next 2 together) x 6 =12sc.
17 – 19. Work 12sc around.
20. Work 4sc in front loops.
21 - 39. Ch 1, turn, 4sc.
40. Work (sc next 2 together) x 2.
41. Work sc 2 together. Bind off.
42. Re attach yarn to next stitch on round 20 and work 2sc,
4sc in front loops.
43 - 62. Ch 1, turn, 4sc.
63. Work (sc next 2 together) x 2.
64. Work sc 2 together. Bind off.
65. Re attach yarn to next stitch on round 20 and work 2sc.
66. Work 4sc in back loops of previous round, 2sc, 4sc in
back loops of previous round, 2sc = 12sc.
67. Work in continuous rounds on these 12 sc until piece measures 8”. Bind off. Stuff the bottom 3” firmly
with beans. Stuff the remainder of the stem with fiberfill. You can tack the arms (leaves) to the side of
the stem, if desired with a few stitches or some hot glue.

Tulip Feet green yarn make 2
1. Ch 5, starting in second ch from hook, sc 4.
2 - 5. Ch 1, turn, 4sc.
6. Ch 1, turn, (sc next 2 together) x 2.
7. Ch 1, turn, sc 2 together. Bind off. Sew feet to front of stem.
Daffodil green and yellow yarn
1. Repeat steps 1 – 16 as for the Daisy Stem, except don’t bind
off.
2 & 3.Work 6dc, 6sc.
4. Change to yellow yarn and work 2sc in back loop of each
stitch around =24sc.
5. Work (3sc, 2sc in next stitch) x 6 = 30sc.
6. Work (4sc, 2sc in next stitches) x 6 =36sc.
7. Work 5sc, ch 1, turn, 6sc.
8 & 9. Ch 1, turn, 6sc.
10. Ch 1, turn, sc next 2 together, 2sc, sc next 2 together.
11. Ch 1, turn, (sc next 2 together) x 2.
12. Ch 1, turn, sc next 2 together. Bind off.
13. Attach yarn to next stitch and work 6sc.
14 & 15. Ch 1, turn, 6sc.
16. Ch 1, turn, sc next 2 together, 2sc, sc next 2 together.
17. Ch 1, turn, (sc next 2 together) x 2.
18. Ch 1, turn, sc next 2 together. Bind off.
19. To make the remainder of the petals (repeat steps 13 – 18) x 4.
20. Stuff the stem with beans and fibrefill, the same way as for the daisy stem.

4 - 7. Work 18sc around.
8. Work (ch2, dc, ch 2, ss) x 6. Bind off.

Daffodil Arms (Stems) green yarn make 2
1. Ch 46, starting in second ch from hook, work 45sc. Sew each arm (or hot glue) to the sides of the stem.
See photo.
2. Add googlie eyes, and paint on mouth.

Daffodil Feet green yarn make 2
