1 Rules procedure
1.1 Authorized visitors
You can receive guests in the rental during the day. Politeness and the usual decency with the neighborhood are required (even
if it is not at home )

1.2 Pets
As cute as they are pets are not accepted in our rental (this concerns all animals).

1.3 Tabaco and smoke
The rental is non-smoking.

2 Keys
3 keys for the whole house
 1 for the garage (the long & old) - opens and closes with 2 towers.
 1 for the PVC "iron curtain" at the front door - which is therefore used only once when arriving and then leaving
 That of the front door (glass door). Note that
o do not push the key TO BOTTOM (the left out of 1mm ...)
o The handle: it must be raised thoroughly before closing it

3 Heating / insulation / ventilation
The house is completely insulated: all the glass wool in the attic is new as well as the windows/door!
Electric radiators are installed for winter stays.
In order to take care of the planet and the electricity bill: please prefer a sweater
The house is built on a crawl space: the floor may seem cold. Bring a pair of slippers!
A VMC is installed.

5 Enterance / kitchen
5.1 Appliances
5.1.1 Refrigerator/freezer
This is a SAMSUNG brand refrigerator + freezer.
When it is started, the refrigerator and freezer are halfway through.
It is by pressing "FRIDGE" and "FREEZER" that you can change its power 1/5, 2/5, 3/5, 4/5, 5/5: the 1/5
position is cold enough.

The doors open from the right (= so to the living room and not to the kitchen)

5.1.2 Oven/microwave
To use it in oven mode: select "convection" (the BLUE) using the low grid (there is also a high grid used for the GRILL mode)
MICROWAVE mode = "microwave" (the RED)
Set with the round button. Start with the START button.

5.1.3 Ceramic hobs
This is the model "Table Vitro SCHNEIDER STV604"
To turn on the entire plate press the general button (blue
arrow). Then each plate can be activated from 1 to 9 (via
the buttons listed here with the green arrows)
The entire plate can be blocked and then unlocked via the
button (lock on the left = purple arrow): just press this
button for 3 seconds.

5.1.4 Washing machine
Washing machine HUBLOT brand ESSENTIEL B (ELF812DD1s).
Capacity 8kg

Here are the cycles as well as the options offered.

5.1.5 Dishwasher

1: Select your cycle with the2nd button (green arrow)
(If a pellet is used:
2: stay 3 seconds pressed on the4th button (red arrow))
3: Start the cycle with the5th button (blue arrow).

The washing product (such as pellets) is put in the
compartment with the green arrow
The rinse liquid is put in the compartment (indicated here
by the blue arrow)

In the dishwasher you have access to the filters (here, on
the right) and the compartment provided for regenerating
salt (red arrow).

5.2 Water arrival
The faucet under the kitchen sink (here surrounded by red)
makes it possible to cut/supply water to the whole house.

5.3 Trash can





Household waste (which is not recycled) goes into the black bin. The ferry must be taken out on Sunday evenings
(passage on Monday mornings) (passages also on Friday mornings in JULY and AUGUST)
Waste that can be recycled goes into the yellow bin. A cardboard box is in the kitchen to facilitate sorting. The yellow
bin must be taken out every Wednesday evening (pick up every Thursday morning).
Glass waste must be disposed of in the dumpsters provided for this purpose in the city.
Several voluntary contribution points are at your disposal throughout the city of Merlimont including in our sector (=
beach).

6 Dining room / living room
BEFORE AND AFTER USING THE TV AND/OR HIFI: REMEMBER
TO TURN ON OR OFF THE POWER STRIP THAT IS ON THE
GROUND. (Grey button)

6.1 TV
HD TV 32'' 80 cm of the brand TCL.
The TV is not connected to an over-the-air antenna.
If you want to watch the TV channels you will have to set the TV with SOURCE = HDMI1 so
that it switches to the TV BOX.
Once the TV is turned on with the remote control (here, on the left) + the source on
HDMI1, the remote control on the left is no longer useful!
For the rest you will control the TV via the remote control of the BOX mini 4K of FREE
The use of the TV BOX is fully described on the free website
(https://assistance.free.fr/univers/offres-freebox/freebox-mini-4k)

6.2 Internet box
The house is equipped with a box and is connected to the internet via fiber.
The WIFI internet network is "MLT621"; its password is "mlt62155" ("mlt" in lowercase).
Thank you for not having an internet use that does not respect French law.
Go to the www.arcom.fr website (formerly HADOPI).

6.3 HIFI
To turn on the amplifier you just have to use
the ON/OFF button (red arrow)
The auxiliary cable (image below) must be used
with the "CD" mode (blue arrow) you can
connect this jack into the headphone jack of
your devices (smartphone ...)
The volume should be adjusted via the large
round button (green arrow).

7 Chamber 1
The bed measures 160 x 200 with 2 pillows and a duvet of 240 x 240
A supply of blankets is available in the closet.

8 Chamber 2
There are 3 beds of 90 x 190; each with a pillow and a duvet of 150x200
The bunk bed is subject to standards and therefore subject to adapted use = for children
from 6 years old.

8.1 Computer screen
In the children's room a desk is available with a 22' screen (LG flatron W2353V) as well as PC speakers.
It can be connected by cable NOT SUPPLIED

9 Bathroom & WC
The house is not connected to the sewer but to a septic tank.
For your comfort and that of the next tenants: thank you for respecting some very simple uses:
 To clean the sand: used the tray at the entrance
 In the toilet: Do not throw anything but toilet paper
 No bleach (this kills the microorganisms that make the pit work!)

10 Garage and garden
1/3 of the garage is not accessible to tenants (so a car can not enter).

10.1 Bikes
In the garage 5 bicycles are available: 2 of 20 inches, 2 of 24 inches 1 of 14 inches.
2 pumps and 1 anti-theft are at your disposal: do not hesitate to use them!
A deposit of 40€ (not cashed – check to be given on arrival) will be required
