ITINERARY
1 Arrive in Windhoek
Upon arrival at Windhoek International Airport, clear customs and immigration, and collect your luggage before making
your way through the Arrivals Halls. You will transfer to your lodge and overnight. The transfer duration is
approximately 30 minutes.
Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, is located at the geographic centre of the country surrounded by rolling mountains.
It's not only the perfect place to start or finish your holiday, but well worth a visit in its own right. The influence of
German colonization is still present in language, architecture and restaurants where one can savour traditional dishes,
bread and beer, and even celebrate Oktoberfest if the timing is right. During the day, the city centre has a European
cafe culture feel, laid-back and eclectic. It all makes for great people watching, and due to Namibia's complex and
intertwined history, you will see people of all colours and cultures. Away from the cafe’s, guided tours of many of
Windhoek's main attractions are available , including Namibia's National Museum at Alte Feste (Old Fort), the
Christuskirche (Christ Church) of the Lutheran parish from the year 1896, and Katutura.

2 Fly to Etosha National Park
Depart from Habitas Namibia by a 30 minute road transfer to Windhoek International Airport, for your private charter
flight to the Etosha National Park. The flying time is approximately one hour. On arrival, transfer to the camp and
overnight.
The central north region of Namibia is a mix of flat gravel plains and grasslands, rolling wooded hills, and rugged
mountains. Here you will find Etosha National Park, one of Africa's premier wildlife sanctuaries, and home to dazzling
displays of wildlife including the endangered cheetah and black rhino. Etosha National Park is famed for its huge
saltpan covering some 120 kilometres (75 miles) across and 55 kilometres (31 miles) from north to south.
Your day is at leisure to explore the activities offered by the camp.

3 Etosha National Park
Explore the wide-open saltpans of the Etosha National Park with guide. A full or half-day guided morning game drive in
the Etosha National Park (Namibia’s prime savannah wilderness area), allows you to see the massive saltpan and
perennial springs that provide the water required by the Park’s high-density big game population. Offered seasonally,
guided nature walks through the reserve will proudly showcase the abundant array of life, from the unusual plants to
the arid-adapted animals with a chance of potentially approaching white rhinos. A hide is a fantastic place to get up
close and personal with wildlife while it slakes its thirst at a waterhole.

4 Fly to Marienfluss Valley
Transfer to the airstrip for your private charter flight to the Marienfluss Valley, where you will transfer to the camp
and overnight. The flying time is approximately two hours and 40 minutes (fuel stop enroute).

The day is at leisure to enjoy the camp activities on offer.

5 Marienfluss Valley
Explore the mountain area and riverine of the Marienfluss Valley with your guide. From stunning scenic drives to
elusive desert adapted animals tracking. The location has a specific set of experiences that allow you to dive deep in
the heart of the Valley and the extraordinary Himba culture.

6 Fly to the Kaokaland Region
Depart by private charter flight from Marienfluss Valley along the Skeleton Coast to Kaokaland. The flying time is
approximately one hour. On arrival, transfer to the lodge and overnight. Perched on a hill above the banks of the
ephemeral Hoarusib River, the Okahirongo Elephant Lodge is an oasis of luxury nestled in the heart of the deserted
Kaokoland, ensuring a rare tranquil experience.

7 & 8 Kaokaland Region
Spend your days exploring the Hoarusib River and enjoy the activities offered by the lodge.

9 Fly to Sossusvlei
Transfer to the airstrip for your private charter flight to the Sossusvlei, transfer to the lodge and overnight. Sossusvlei
represents the classic view of the Namib Desert of an ocean of sand, ‘waves’ that are made of bright red sand and dark
shadows. Known as the ‘Sand Sea,’ highlights in the area include the moon-like pans grandly flanked by some of the
world’s tallest dunes. The flying time is two hours and 20 minutes.

10 Sossusvlei
The day is at leisure to enjoy the lodge activities.

11 Depart
