making it possible for the Company to assess the risk and consider the acceptability and terms to apply.
Completion of this questionnaire does not constitute acceptance of the risk or the granting of any cover by the

Site Preparation and Development
1 - Demolition
Demolition of works by manual or mechanical means (apart from explosives). This activity comprises, for
connection to and protection of the existing work, accessory or supplementary works including:
• Masonry

• Roads and utility services
2 - Earthworks
Undertaking, in the open air, digging and sheeting of provisional excavation in the ground, as well as the
groundwater drainage works needed for undertaking the works, backfilling, unassociated rock filling and filling up
except for quarries being the subject either to constitute a work themselves or to allow work to be undertaken.
This activity includes investigations and drilling.
3 - Soil Improvement
Processing, reinforcement and soil improvement in-situ, in order to improve physical and mechanical properties.
This activity comprises laying geotextiles (apart from geomembrane), investigations and boring.
4 - Roads and Utility Services: Pipework - Sewerage and Drainage - Roadways - Pavements - Paving Irrigation - Green Spaces
Undertaking pipework, autonomous sewerage and drainage, buried networks, paths and carriageways, columns
and enclosures. Work on green spaces, including supplementary masonry works.
5 - Fitting Scaffolding - Shoring
Fitting, for third parties, all fixed or suspended shorings or scaffoldings, or lifts used for the construction or
maintenance of properties, monuments and buildings as well as fitting temporary structures.
6 - Asbestos Processing
Removal of asbestos, materials and products containing, as well as their elimination or their confinement, in the
entire work or part of the work.
7 - Curative Treatment (Xylophagous Insects - Mushrooms)
Curative treatment of woods in the structure and the constructions for insects with xylophagous larvae, termites
and mushrooms in the frameworks and joinery work made of wood, but also the ground, foundations, walls,
partitions and floors.
8 - Drying of Walls
Treating walls for rising damp. This activity comprises preparatory works and treatment per se as well as
accessory and supplementary works for the replacement of cladding.

9 - Special Foundations
Undertaking deep foundation systems such as piles, batten plates, moulded partitions, pile-planks,
self-supporting partitions and any other equivalent techniques. This activity includes groundwater drainage work,
investigations and boring.
10 - Reinforced Concrete Masonry Except Prestressed In Situ
Undertaking reinforced concrete masonry, whether prefabricated or otherwise, in prefabricated, prestressed
concrete (except prestressed in situ), in agglomerated block of mortar or cellular concrete, in natural stones or
bricks, as much for infrastructure as the superstructure, by any masonry techniques of pouring, rough-casting
(except lining of pinned, attached or adhered wall).
This activity includes the works of:
• Rendering on the base of hydraulic or synthetic binders
• Redressing in masonry
• Brickwork, paving
• Paving, screed
• Foundations other than piles, batten plates, moulded partitions, pile-planks, self-supporting partitions
and any other equivalent techniques

11 - Concrete Prestressed In Situ
Implementation of prestressed, reinforced concrete put under tension on-site.
12 - Framework and Wooden Structure
Creation of frameworks, structures and carcasses on a wooden base excluding curtain walls. This activity
comprises the accessory or supplementary works of:
• Roofing, cladding, various frameworks, when these are attached directly to the carcass
• Roofing or sealing supports
• Ceilings, false ceilings, partitions made of wood and other materials
• Floors and parquets
• Thermal and sound insulation attached to the carcass or the framework
• Preventative and curative treatment of woods
• Installing materials or any metallic elements forming the building, for reinforcement or for the stability of

13 - Framework and Metallic Structure
Installation of frameworks, structures and metal carcasses excluding curtain walls. This activity comprises the
accessory or supplementary works of:
• Roofing, cladding, various frameworks, when these are metal and attached directly to the carcass
• Roofing or sealing supports
• Protection and treatment for corrosion
• Treatment for the fire stability by paintwork or flocking
• Work on the groundwork and by metallic structure
• Thermal and sound insulation attached to the carcass or the framework

Building Stability
14 - Roofing
Undertaking, in all materials (except textile structures), including asphalt shingle, of roofing or wall panels. This
activity includes the works of:
• Sheet metal work and PVC accessories
• Placing the roof framework, including vents in the roof, for solar sensors
• Undertaking insulation and screening under the roof
• Redressing and restoration of chimney stacks outside attics
• Installation of a lightning conductor
As well as accessory or supplementary work of:
• Sealed joints
• Installing vertical claddings

15 - Sealing the Roof, Flat Roof and Interior Floor
Undertaking the sealing of the roof, flat roof and interior floor by installing bituminous or synthetic materials on
horizontal or inclined supports, including placing the sealing support.
This activity comprises, within any limits laid down in the procedure, the installation of insulating materials and
includes all work for preparing the application, or for ensuring the protection of the sealed covering, as well as
those required for completing the sealing of works.
As well as the undertaking of works including:
• Sealing the buried partition
• Sheet metal work and PVC accessories
• Roof framework (including vents in the roof)
16 - Sealing and Making Impermeable the Lining, Tanks and Swimming Pools
Sealing and making impermeable, under hydrostatic pressure, the linings of works including tanks and pools
made of prestressed reinforced concrete. This activity also comprises the preparatory work, such as that for
protecting and treating all the joints.
17 - Weather-stripping Protection, Impermeability and Seal of the Façades
Undertaking protection and renovation work on the façades using impermeable lining based on class I1, I2 and I3
polymers and sealing systems based on class l4 polymers. This activity includes the works of:
• Sealing the soil of the works, when it dominates the non-closed parts of the building
• Weather-stripping construction joints for the purpose of sealing from water and air
• Thermal insulation from the exterior
18 - Exterior Joinery Work
Undertaking exterior joinery work, including their protective covering, whatever the material used, with the
exception of curtain walls. This activity includes the works of:
• Installing the filling elements, including resin or plastic products and polycarbonates
• Weather-stripping on site of joinery work joints
• Installing the enclosures and solar protections, whether or not integrated,
• Coverings and interior/exterior joints.
As well as accessory or supplementary work of:
• Glazing and mirrors
• Power supplies, controls and any electrical connections
• Installation of materials or products contributing to thermal, sound, fire and safety insulation
• Preventative and curative treatment of woods

Installing the wall sheeting by techniques other than those of curtain walls by implementing clapboards or panels,

This activity includes the works of:
• Installing the filling elements, including resin or plastic products and polycarbonates

cleaning, placing flexible coverings, textiles, plastic or similar onto the horizontal and vertical surfaces. This
activity comprises the accessory or supplementary works of:
• Joinery work
• Faience coverings
• Cleaning, sanding, grit blasting
• Sound and thermal insulation by the interior and exterior
Making impermeable and sealing work is not included.
27 - Covering of Surfaces in Flexible Materials and Floating Floors
Undertaking adhered or floating floors, flexible coverings, with or without textile base, in any plastic, rubber or
similar materials, or in wood (veneer sheeting on Kraft paper or textiles, adhered veneers or adhered plywoods) or
any other relevant to the same techniques of implementation.
28 - Covering Surfaces with Hard Materials - Screeds and Poured Grounds
Undertaking the covering of surfaces in floor tiles and any other product made of hard materials, either natural or
artificial (except lock seaming, ties), screeds and poured grounds. This activity comprises the accessory or
supplementary works of:
• Placing sound or insulation notch ductile under the screed or floating floors
• Sealing under non-submerged tiled flooring
• Protection by making the tiled flooring and faience bases impermeable
